Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the website at southwestwaterco.com or purchasing any products or services from Southwest Water Co. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Southwest Water Co. provides water softener and filtration system sales, professional installation, and related services in the Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City metropolitan areas. All services are subject to availability in your location. We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion.

2. Orders & Payments

By placing an order, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and include taxes and professional installation unless otherwise stated. We offer two payment options:

• Paid in Full: Full payment collected at checkout.
• 50% Deposit: A deposit is collected at checkout; the remaining balance is due prior to or on the day of installation.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

3. Installation

Professional installation is included with every system purchase. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your home and water system during the order process.
• Ensure a responsible adult (18+) is present at the property during the scheduled installation.
• Provide reasonable access to the installation area, including water shutoff valves and electrical outlets as needed.

We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by inaccurate information, inaccessible installation areas, or conditions not disclosed prior to the appointment.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Warranty

All systems are covered under our limited warranty as described in the Warranty Statement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain your warranty and ensure optimal system performance, you agree to:

• Operate and maintain the system in accordance with the instructions provided at installation.
• Replenish salt and replace filters as recommended.
• Notify us promptly of any system issues or changes in water quality.
• Not attempt unauthorized repairs or modifications to the system.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Southwest Water Co.'s total liability for any claim arising from or related to our products or services shall not exceed the original purchase price paid by you. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to property damage, loss of use, or loss of data.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and graphics — is the property of Southwest Water Co. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Utah.
